I am living in Fayetteville, AR while my husband gets his Masters in playwrighting at the University of Arkansas.  We moved here mid July 2006, and will be here at least through 2009.  Now that we have been here for nearly two years, I have decided to go back to school myself.  I will be entering the Operations Management program at the UA in Fall 2008 and finish with Larry in May 2008.  From there no one knows...

 

 

I am working at the University of Arkansas's office of Graduate Recruitment as the Project Coordinator.  That is my unofficial title.  My official title is Secretary II, however, that title does not accurately describe my position, so I have a working title as well.

 

I really enjoy this job!  I make all travel arrangements for our recruiters, manage the budget, mange the work study students, general office management, make arrangements for campus visitors, purchase orders, approval of purchases, and the list goes on. 

 

I am a bit overwhelmed by this job, but am slowly get the hang of it.

Sigh.  None since last years Fayetteville Arts Festival's 24 hour play competition.  My team was myself as the director, Larry as the playwright, Derek, Ryan Hamilton, and Pat as actors.  Larry wrote a script called Jump Rope.  We were given a prop (the jump rope) and an opening line ("this is the kind of weird thing that's been happening all day").  We all feel like it went really well, however we did not win.  But we all had 24 hours of fun...right?
